Vitex company acted as the general partner of the tournament “VLADIMIR. Sambo Champion’s battle” “The Battle of the first”, which took place on December 11 in the Dzerzhinsky center “Oka”.

16 most titled athletes took part in the tournament (8 – sports, 8 – combat sambo). Among them are representatives of Russia, Tajikistan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Bulgaria, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.

The most exciting moment of the meeting was a special international combat sambo match in the 100+ kg weight category. It brought together the winner of the Cup of Russia in 2021, Nizhny Novgorod Magomed Tuchalov and the current World Champion in combat sambo from Cameroon, Jantu Nana Maxwell, who eventually won and took the championship belt with him. For the first time in the history of the tournament, an online broadcast was organized on the FIAS channel, which gathered an audience of several thousand viewers around the world and received rave reviews.

The tournament “VLADIMIR. Sambo Champion’s battle” has been held for 26 years in a row in honor of our countryman, European Champion Vladimir Kulikov.
